Visa introduces a new contactless payment specification |

International Visa payment system introduces a new global specification for its own contactless payment platform called Visa payWave. Its new name is Visa Contactless 2.0. It’s based on security standard for EMV chip smart cards.A company representative says that this new global specification will allow card holders using their contactless cards worldwide. At the same time technology configuration will be kept flexible, so it will be easily adopted at local markets. |
